Issued by the Royal Mint in 2016, this impressive Five Ounce Gold Proof Britannia is one of the most prestigious modern British gold coins released during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Struck from five ounces of 999.9 fine gold, the reverse features Britannia standing proudly with shield and trident alongside a lion, designed by Suzie Zamit, while the obverse displays the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
