The 1992 Gold Proof Half Sovereign pairs Raphael Maklouf’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the classic Saint George and the dragon reverse. Struck during the year marking 40 years since the Queen’s accession, it represents an established chapter in the modern Sovereign series.
