1911 Full Sovereign Proof PF65
£0.00
This rare Proof Gold Sovereign features the bare head portrait of King George V facing left, designed by Bertram Mackennal, with his initials B.M. shown on the truncation. The reverse showcases Benedetto Pistrucci’s iconic image of St George slaying the dragon, struck in a beautiful proof finish with strong cameo contrast.
Graded PF65 Cameo by NGC, this coin is the equivalent of Choice Uncirculated in traditional British grading and offers excellent detail with lightly mirrored fields and frosted devices. With a low mintage of just 3,764 pieces, it is a scarce and highly collectable sovereign.
Struck in 22 carat gold at the London Mint, it has a milled edge and upright die axis, continuing the long-standing tradition of the classic British sovereign.
As a British Sovereign, it is legal tender and Capital Gains Tax exempt in the UK.
